Cox Arboretum
Today we took a field trip to Cox Arboretum. We started the day off by making nature haikus on a picture of nature that interest us. I did my haiku on a picture of hemlock, a deadly plant if you ingest it.

After we made our haikus we went outside for the bus. We spent almost an hour waiting for the bus. Luckily it didn't rain. Once we arrived to Cox Arboretum it really started to pour. It didn't rain for long so we soon went out to explore. We saw a lot of birds, such as red-winged blackbirds (below), robins, sparrows, cardinals, and even some ruby-throated hummingbirds.

Once we finished at Cox Arboretum we went back to the school for some yoga. All in all it was a fun day, even with the rain.
